Bahauddin Zakariya University BZU
Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan was set up in 1975 with the mission to provide quality education of the higher level to the students living in Southern Punjab. BZU Multan provides education to the students in more than 60 disciplines including medical, engineering, pharmacy, music, arts, IT Agriculture, humanities, business administration and languages. Higher Education Commission announced the general category rankings in 2012 in which this University was declared at the number three university in general category. BZU has also set up its various sub campuses located at DG Khan, Sahiwal, Layyah and Lahore.
Various colleges of economics, laws, fine arts and other disciplines are affiliated with BZU Multan. The admission branch of Zakariya University starts admission process and students start taking admission in August and September. BZU Multan has also started the distant learning program in different disciplines during the month of January and February in the spring semester. The private students can also appear in the annual exams of different subjects and pass their exams. After that, they are awarded with the degrees in different disciplines.
